Our Philosophy at Gentle Touch Academy
Gentle Touch Academy is designed for individuals who have previously completed a phlebotomy course and are seeking a hands-on refresher to rebuild confidence and strengthen their skills.
This training is ideal for those who may not have practiced in some time and want to improve their technique in a supportive learning environment.
Our program is also well suited for physicians who want their staff properly trained in blood collection for procedures such as PRP for hair restoration, cosmetic treatments, and facial therapies. In addition, the training benefits registered nurses (RNs), wellness clinics, weight loss clinics, and other healthcare professionals who want to gain practical experience and strengthen their venipuncture skills.
At Gentle Touch Academy, we emphasize proper technique, painless blood draw methods, and patient-centered care. Students will also learn how to work with patients who experience anxiety, have a fear of needles, or are prone to fainting during blood draws.
Our goal is to provide practical skills that create a safer, smoother, and more comfortable experience for both the patient and the practitioner.

Format: 2-Day Intensive (12 Hours)
Class Size: Max 5 Students
Goal: Learn safe, confident, and painless venipuncture techniques.
Day 1 – Foundations (6 Hours)
- Welcome, orientation & safety agreements
- Anatomy & vein selection (different patient types)
- Infection control & sharps safety
- Equipment & order of draw
- Introduction to painless techniques (exclusive method)
- Hands-on practice with mannequins
Day 2 – Hands-On Mastery (6 Hours)
- Review & live demonstration
- Supervised student practice on classmates
- Troubleshooting difficult veins & needle fear
